Roque Dalton
A person I admire By Mario Andrade Roque Dalton is a person I look up to for three different reasons. First of all, he is known as a great writer in different parts of the world. He won important writing prizes such as the 'Prize Casa de las Américas'. He definitely represents salvadorian poetry. Second of all, he was a resilient person. He traveled to numerous countries before and after he was exiled from El Salvador. He has taught me to believe in my convictions and fight for them. Finally, he has inspired me to write. The message that his poetry conveys is admirable and authentic. It makes me want to express all kinds of feelings in a page. In conclusion, I admire Roque Dalton due to three distinct motives.
